This is how it feels is comprised of a series of drawings roughly measuring the dimensions of a human torso. The work is a reflection on the representations of desire, oneirism, and a fantasised description of Nature in a postmodern world governed by immediacy and communication. It erodes the anchored ties between humans, technology and bodies by revealing the fragility of a society based on individualism and constant change. The work is produced by a combination of traditionally hand-drawn and technologically mediated processes of image-making, and is printed (Giclee) on cotton.
